Tecmarine provides high quality marine electronic and electrical equipment and services, specializing in commercial fishing vessels and workboats.

Based in the South West but working throughout the UK and Europe, projects range from new build boats through to the repair of electronic, electrical, navigation and safety equipment.

Our team of BMF trained engineers, who have received manufacturer training on all products, provide a complete installation service. A stainless steel and aluminum welding and fabrication service is also available. Tecmarine also manufactures bespoke control and display panels.

Tecmarine is proud to be the UK distributor for MAQ sonar and Notus net monitoring.

MAQ sonar is the fully stabilised and very successful fishing sonar. This sonar provides even better poor weather performance and allows hard to detect fish to be clearly visible in adverse conditions. The 60 and 90kHz models have been particularly effective for the sprat, mackerel and anchovy fishing in the relatively shallow waters of the south west. The 22kHz model provides class leading performance and excellent results for the deeper water fisheries.

Notus is the only net monitoring system to offer active, two-way communication and true omnidirectional capabilities, providing sensor data when it is needed most. Omnidirectional pattern beams are critical when turning, when a door has fallen over or when fishing gear is lost.
